My sister, who is one of my best friends in the whole world and lives five states away was recently diagnosed with Breast Cancer. She is a beautiful 36-year old wife and a mother of 3 beautiful children age 5 and under. We don't have a history of it in our family and she's always taken really good care of herself. Goes to show that this can happen to anyone at anytime. She caught it early and after two surgeries, will begin her 16 weeks of chemo-therapy on November 1st. I would give anything for her not to be going through this, but I know that I can't fix it. I am doing everything I can to support finding a cure and helping women in need. From clicking every day on www.thebreastcancersite.com to doing the American Cancer Society's "Making Strides Against Breast Cancer", to purchasing pink ribbon products. I urge all of you to do your monthly exams, get yourselves checked out and stay healthy! Our greatest defense right now is early detection.

While it's incredibly unfortunate that so many good people have to go through Breast Cancer, your sister does have the good fortune that she has you as a sister, and support system, while she is going through this hard time.

1OMG YOU KNOW WHAT,,,when they ask for money, for find a cure a foundation, they are not really trying to find a cure, they can find a cure but they don't want to because its all about the business...think about it, if they find a cure all the medicine people buy, that whole company would be lost without their business
if they find cure, whose going to by the treatments. so the medicine company pays them NOT TO FIND A CURE,
its this whole F*#^d up system of the business world. Honestly they are doing that and the same goes for diabetes, they can find a cure to stop that one little gene causing the disease if they really want to, but ones someone gets sucked up in the business they forget the people and the lives being lost.
source: sister in law works for a big pharamsict company, she does the biochemical stuff, but she is now understanding the business. she is outraged but yet she can't do anything about it because it is hard to find proof that they know the cure!
how do they sleep at night??
